The presentation of Albania at the Mediterranean Exchange Archaeological Tourism, which took place from 18-21 November 2010 in Paestum-Salerno, Italy.
Thank to the initative of Mrs. Elda Omari, professor at the University of Padova, Department of Archaeology, Albania participated in this fair with a stand prepared in cooperation with the National Agency of Tourism. During the event, the development of archaeological and cultural tourism in Albania was discussed in two conferences. The Albanian stand was located in the central hall alongside countries as Slovenia, Croatia, and Greece and in front of the Italian Ministry of Culture stand.
This activity aims to promote archaeological sites and cultural destinations, the possibility of integration among different cultures by promoting the marketing of specific tourist products.
