The Mitt Moscow Fair took place at the "Krasnya Presnia" Exhibition center from the 17 - 21 of March. The first three days of the fair were intended to "B to B" business meeting while the last day was open to the public. With an island shape stand of 42 meters square, Albania turned back to an institutional level. The last time Albania participated in this fair was in 1999.
Besides MTKRS (Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports) and AKT (National Tourism Agency) in the stand there were 5 travel agencies particularly specialized in the Russian market.
The stand was located close to region countries such as Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria.
During the fair there was an enormous interest from the Russian entities involved in tourism, especially for those agencies working in Montenegro. Their aim was to include our country in their own agenda.
Many friends and institutions visited the stand, among them the Embassy of Albania in Moscow. Meetings were held also with the Albanian - Russian friendship association.
