International Fair I.T.B. Berlin took place from 10 to 14 of March at Messe Berlin. Albania was represented with a 117 square meters, positioned close to countries such as Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kosovo, Bulgaria etc.
Along with the MTKRS (Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports) and AKT (National Tourism Agency) there were 10 private tourist operators including travel agencies, hotels and the Archaeological Park of Butrint.
The first three days of the fair were intended for "B to B" business meetings and the last two days were open for the public. Visitors had the occasion to see Albanian folk dances performed by the Albanian dancers at the stand.
A cocktail reception took place on the 10 of March, in the stand. A great number of tourism subjects attended this event among them there were Representatives of Kosova.
During the fair there was an increasing interest by different marketing companies which were concerned about the promotion of our country toward the world markets.
