Thermal waters of Bilaj, near Fushe Kruja. These springs are the closest to the capital city. They are located on the national motorway from Vore to Fushe Kruje, close to the Bridge of Gjole . Thermal waters gush from the deposits of river Ishem They are sulphateic waters , very rich with mineral compound , such as Ca,Na,K,Fe,Mg etc.The temperature of waters reach to 55 degree C.
These waters have a curative effects to several problems , such as rheumatic ,skin and nervous system . Recently a modern rehabilitative center "Ibrahim Kupi" is erected .This center offers a range of facilities such as accommodation ,food and medical service
Thermal waters of Elbasan.They are found close to the city of Elbasan. These thermal springs are known and used since the roman times. The first hotel to use these springs, named "Hotel Park" was established in the year 1932 It was owned by Grigor Nosi. Thermal waters of Elbasan fits for the treatment of several diseases of respiratory ways , stomach , skin, etc There are lot of private hotel accommodation which offers different services They can be used also for cosmetic purposes.
Thermal waters of Benja. They are located 14 km far away form the southern town of Permet, in the Commune of Petran. There are in total 6 springs and they are outdoor . The scenery round the waters is very beautiful and attractive. The temperature of the waters ranks between 23 to 26 degree C. One from the spring cures the stomach problems, and one other treat the skin. Other indications are related with chronic diseases and rhemauthic. These springs were used for the first time in 1964. For the moments there are no hotel facilities near these thermal waters. The people use them in ambulatory way.
Thermal Waters of Vronomero. They are located 10 km south of the small town of Leskovik ,in the southeastern part of the country. The waters are very rich in different minerals and salts and they treat several diseases . The temperature of thermal waters is between 29 to 40 degree C . There is a renovated hotel with all necessary facilities.
Thermal Waters of Peshkopia. They are found in vicinity of Peshkopia in the northeast of Albanaia. They gush from the gypsum deposits of mount Korabi. There are two sulphatic springs with high contend of potassium . The waters treat several diseases ( respiratory ways, diabetes ,skin diseases etc) . There are private hotels in this area.
Apart from thermal waters in Albania there are the spring of drinkable waters of "Kroi i bardhe " in the district of Mirdita ( Commune of Selita) .The water has a positive effects for the kidney stones. Lot of people go there by ambulatory way.
In the Southeastern part of Albania, not for from Leskovik the steamy bath of Postenan are found.
Albania is located in the Mediterranean basin has a climate of relatively short and wet winters and hot and dry summers. Climate has a great variety from one region to the other .This variety supports a rich flora and fauna and also beautiful landscapes .
